KCB Safari Rally
Held every year, KCB Safari Rally is an event for the motorsports enthusiasts. Celebrated for two days, the rally attracts many of the tourists visiting the city. People celebrate the beginning and the end of the rally.

East African Art Festival
East African Art Festival is held ever year by the Kenya National Museum. It exhibits the art works, architectural designs, traditional artifacts and paintings done by the artists of the East African Region. The festival takes place for three days.

Kenyan Music Festival
Kenyan Music festival is a famous annual festival of Nairobi. It is held at the Kenyatta International Conference Center. Groups are selected from the different schools, colleges and universities through regional competitions. The event is categorized in Oriental, Western or African music. The competition may be dance-oriented, vocal or instrumental. Selected groups compete with each other.

The anniversary of self-government, Madaraka day is celebrated on the 1st of June every year.
